Some News!

The most precious little girls room ever (and I cannot for the life of me find the original source)

Hi there! Are y'all still out there? I know, it's been too long. Way too long. And for no good reason really! I mean, I have time to watch all the Real Housewives and tweet Patricia Altschul on the reg. I have time to blog.

You may have noticed a little redecorating on the blog front. It was time. Really, the place was a bit of a mess. I'm sure I'll be tweaking it as we go, but I hope you like it. If you have time check out a few of the links on the new navigation bar across the top. (I'll be categorizing the older posts over the next few weeks so the menu categories aren't quite ready.)

First, there's The Best List.

This page is very similar to the Weekend Links I used to do.  It's also literally (yes, really literally) most of the things I've texted my sisters and friends over the last few months - the things I had to share with lots of exclamation points. I know I've left out a few of my favorites so check back for more.  I'll let you know here whenever I update the list.

Also, I had to put a special section for blue and white finds.

I'll include those on the blog here, but I wanted a pretty little place to keep them for easy access.

I hope you enjoy my new and improved little space on the world wide web.  I didn't want to change the name because it is so near and dear to my heart.  But I wanted to take a little more ownership of my blog and the things I share - basically take credit for being kind of a weirdo.*

*Like when a reality star is all buttoned up the first season and then slowly, after some good Botox and a 10-pound weight loss, they decide to throw caution to the wind and just be their crazy self. Yep, that's what's happening here. I think. Let's ask Shannon Beador.

OK.  I've buried the lead.

THE NEWS.

We are getting yet another big addition to our family ...

And it's a GIRL!

This is a super cheese video I made where you can see I've surprised The Suze with our big news.  I wrote on her birthday card "Congratulations, you now have more grandkids than kids!" You don't have to watch it :)

We are so excited to meet her in January!

Thank you for coming back and hanging out with me! I can't wait to get back to the business of sharing all of the pretties I come across and soliciting all of your expert advice. I have so much to talk to y'all about so check back soon!

  10. Has been way too long since I was here - four children - let's just say - I reached and exceeded maximum capacity at 3 and then our 4th little dream baby tipped me into oblivion ;) Of course I wouldn't have it any other way and adore all beyond life itself. Anyway! Saw your beyond sweet Halloween post - saw pregnancy - and so of course then had to find our details! And then ahh your beautiful blog! Truly a souls counterpoint is this blog and your taste and writing :) And yay little girl to join to your beautiful, beautiful boys! Congratulations again! As someone said - can't wait to see the nursery :) - just saw the Nikki post and thought - agh I need too! My sweet surprise bambino doesn't even have a room yet! We built our house before we her adored surprise arrival - so only 3 children bedrooms upstairs - of course they all just sleep in one currently ;) Fortunately have a children sitting room (currently undecorated) but no closet and no ensuite as the others will have - I know first world problems ;) ANYWAY won't continue and bore - is a much longer saga of indecision - but needless to say am in complete love with all your decorating choices and maybe - if I can ever sort out what to do about my children's room saga - I will be allowed to indulge in the Porthault fabric also :))) Congratulations again!!!

Tell me somethin' good! I love your comments!

* I'll try to Reply to your Comments directly in the Comments section as much as I can especially if you have a question, so check back here if you've left a super-important comment that requires a response.
(i.e. Your Comment: what's up with the Biebs and Selena Gomez? My Reply: I don't know but it's keeping me up at night. He's so cryptic on Instagram, it's hard to really know)
