The Exquisite Series: Aerostation

The first entry in this wonderful little book, and I'm already inspired.  I love a clear blue sky adorned with unexpected hot-air balloons.  It's one of those sights I always take a moment to enjoy.  I can't say that about many things.

If I can't have big bright balloons constantly floating outside my window, I can perhaps bring it indoors.  I've seen many versions of a beautiful antique hot air balloon chandelier used on occasion, and I've always loved the bit of whimsy it brings to the space.  I would use it above a deep claw-footed tub in a bathroom filled with antiques and Leontine Linens.  Aerostation

* The Exquisite Series is inspired by the joyfully, frivolous little book Encyclopedia of the Exquisite: An Anecdotal History of Elegant Delights

  1. Exquisite execution of this thought. I definitely think I may now need a hot air balloon chandelier above my bath. To encourage flights of thought :)

(i.e. Your Comment: what's up with the Biebs and Selena Gomez? My Reply: I don't know but it's keeping me up at night. He's so cryptic on Instagram, it's hard to really know)
