Reader Help: Gas Lanterns

Morning friends! Quick question today because I have a busy morning. Kip mentioned wanting to replace the outdoor lights on our house with gas lanterns (obviously inspired by the homes in Charleston). After doing a little dance, I realized that's my cue to make his casual mention happen stat. Any advice? How do we do it? Where can we get them? I could probably just google it but I thought y'all might be able to help.

  1. I the biggest fan of gas lanterns and so wish we could have them in Beaufort, but there are no gas lines there so we would have to have our own tank. They make the most beautiful light...

  2. What about contacting your gas company? Possibly they would know how to go about it.

  3. We have some nearby homes with gas lantern sconces. The effect is really lovely, very romantic and subtle. Here are some places to look:

  4. Hi Jennifer! Love your blog! I would recommend Bevolo in New Orleans (www.bevolo.com). Lots of gorgeous lanterns that have a very old-world feel. I love them.

  7. Well first you need a gas line, assuming you have it? As others have suggested Bevolo makes beautiful ones, used them for my old house....definitely recommend them. Can't wait to see!!

  12. Copper Sculptures produced the one in this photograph. They are based out of Jackson, Mississippi but have dealers all around the country.
