Snow! Snow! Snow!

Say what you will about 2 year-olds (and I have said it all), but they see things with so much wonder and amazement that it's no wonder they get overwhelmed sometimes!

It's the first snow in our new house and it really is so beautiful to see how it highlights our yard and the trees around it. We have lots of windows so it feels like I'm in my own little snow globe.

I may or may not be able to post over the next few days. I'm going to do my best but you know how it is with the holidays - crazy! Hopefully, I can get some links up for you tomorrow, but if I don't, have a Merry Christmas (or if you don't celebrate Christmas, have a Merry random day in December) :)

ps in the last picture Edward is saying "yooka mommy!! Fwosty the snowman!!"

  1. Awww! How fun to see Edward enjoying the snow! I'd love to have some snow, and you know all too well how likely that is! Yesterday afternoon it was hot and muggy and then got very cold in the night. Crazy Dallas weather! Enjoy the snow -- it looks beautiful! Merry Christmas!

  2. I love it! The first snow fall is always a special one. I just posted similar pics yesterday:) so much fun!

Enjoy the holiday and wishing you the best in the new year!

  3. Jennifer- What enchanting pictures. Of course you know I like the last one best- xo Diana

  4. Isn't awesome how having a child makes everything new again!

  5. I am insanely jealous...I was secretly hoping for a white Christmas...I wanted the whole enchilada, a serious snow that keeps us in for days, cooking, eating, cooking, eating, well you get the idea:) So far a little freezing rain is the closest I am going to get...enjoy all the prep and fun, loved the pics!

  6. Looks beautiful! Maybe you will have a white Christmas!

  7. I love that last photo! The snow looks enchanting and you know I HATE SNOW! It is only okay if: I don't have to go anywhere, there is tons of food in the house, and there are many Real Housewives marathons on TV. Edward is so cute, I love his little tush in the pic. I bet the nape of his neck smells yummy like baby shampoo, cookies, and love, I want to snuggle it.

  8. Oh my gosh, I just love seeing the snowy pictures and that of Edward is adorable too. I can't believe how badly I miss snow around the Christmas holiday. I grew up outside Pittsburgh and loved when it when we had snow for Christmas. Now living in the Bay Area for over 28 years, I get misty when I see pictures like this and the best I can hope for is a bad frost just to see something white on the ground!
Thanks for the snow and Merry Christmas!

(i.e. Your Comment: what's up with the Biebs and Selena Gomez? My Reply: I don't know but it's keeping me up at night. He's so cryptic on Instagram, it's hard to really know)
