Pinks and Blues

Hey y'all! Hope you had a lovely weekend! I'm going to be running around like a crazy lady trying to get ready for my best friend's wedding this weekend.  I'm so excited, but also a little nervous about leaving The Child.  I just want to make sure I have him totally taken care of before I leave so the in-laws can enjoy their time with him.

How pretty is this flower arrangement?

I love pink and blue together.  I tend to gravitate toward those colors more than any others.

Finally, thank you so much The Enchanted Home for the One Lovely Blog Award! Tina is one of the nicest bloggers out there and always leaves the best comments! You must visit her blog if you haven't already.  She's basically taking all of my favorite things and putting them into her dream home.  It's ah-mazing.  Hopefully, I will get a chance to pass this award along, but right now I must go.  I'm watching my son practice his forward rolls ... over the back of the dog.

  3. So funny...I just did a post on pink and blue last week but we didn't use any of the same images. Isn't it funny what appeals to one person vs. another, although I do love all of these, too!

  4. Love pink and blue and actually did my daughters room in these colors. I would like to tone down the blue on her walls, maybe if I show her this post she will reconsider:)

  5. Would never have guessed I would love that pink and blue kitchen as much as i did! Not sure I could pull it off, but it is gorgeous to look at. I don't use so much pink (although maybe I'll try), but do have a collection of over 100 pieces of Hadley Pottery (www.hadleypottery.com) that is hand-painted mostly in blue. I use it everywhere. Thanks for the great article.

  6. Your beautiful and scrumptious son will be in great hands! You go off and enjoy the wedding, it will be fun and maybe even a little romantic! I agree, Tina is the nicest and you deserve the award. Both of your blogs make me want to buy everything in sight and since I don't have to fit into a couch, bed, or table, like jeans, my overspending is reaching new heights....I love the spin with the pink, it reminds me a bit of Lilly P and your room in college at 1420. Also, I bet your son is tumbling like a champ, he has a body designed for such things (unlike me) and Reagan makes a wonderful gymnastics apparatus. Go see The Help, you will love it.

(i.e. Your Comment: what's up with the Biebs and Selena Gomez? My Reply: I don't know but it's keeping me up at night. He's so cryptic on Instagram, it's hard to really know)
