Today is a Good Day For a Nook

It's thunderstorms today, which gives us a short reprieve from the long hot days out by the pool and an excuse to stay indoors.  If I could, I would crawl into this nook and close the curtains to anybody who's not willing to be calm and quite and snuggly.  Then I would emerge three days later, probably less like a dainty butterfly from it's cocoon and more like a big doughy bear out of hibernation, searching for my baby cub and some macaroni and cheese.

Have a lovely weekend y'all! Hopefully, I'll be back next week well rested and more inspired.  Happy Father's Day!

  1. One of my all time favorite cozy does that look? I could seriously hibernate in that dreamy little coccoon for a few days, give me a few good books, some things to nibble on (preferably chocolate) and I am good. That image of the sleeping baby is soo cute. Your little guy sounds like a live wire. Enjoy..had 3 of them and would give anything for them to be babies again!!
Enjoy the rainy day..same over here!
Funny what you said about the lone farm, it really does something for me too....I would so buy your book on pictures of beautiful farms! Go for it...

(i.e. Your Comment: what's up with the Biebs and Selena Gomez? My Reply: I don't know but it's keeping me up at night. He's so cryptic on Instagram, it's hard to really know)
